Draft — not final
Text messaging
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These terms cover the Curb Coyote text message program.
What you will receive
If you opt in, Curb Coyote sends automated text messages about your service, such as:
- notices that your bins are at the curb or back in place, sometimes with a link to a proof photo;
- notices when the truck has not emptied your bins yet, or when we could not reach them;
- schedule and holiday updates and skip confirmations;
- sign-in codes;
- receipts, renewal and payment notices, and plan changes.
We do not send marketing texts through this program.
How you opt in
You opt in by checking the text message box when you sign up, update your notice settings, or join our list. The box is never checked for you. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase. You can choose email notices instead.
Frequency and cost
Message frequency varies with your service and settings, typically a few messages in a service week. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan. We do not send routine notices overnight.
Stop, help and restart
- Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You will receive one final text confirming you are unsubscribed, and then no more texts unless you opt in again.
- Reply HELP for help, or email support@curbcoyote.com.
- Reply START to resume texts after stopping.
You can also turn text notices on or off in your account settings.
